Big Data – the good, the bad and the ugly

“Data is the new black” – today, it is difficult to evade the hype. With the hype at its peak, it is worthwhile to look at the core of big data and ask:

  • What is big data?
  • Where is it over-promising?
  • Where is it over-delivering?
  • Where is potential?

In this talk, we present real-life big data cases, discuss data-driven value creation, and reflect on the strategic positioning of big data in the context of privacy.
